Fees
Our fees are based on the recommended "Fee Guide for Specialists in Periodontics" which is approved by the B.C. Dental
Association.
In most cases, dental insurance companies base their reimbursement on the "Fee Guide for Dental Treatment Services provided
by General Practitioners." Due to this situation, reimbursement from your insurance carrier may be lower than the amount
claimed.
Payment for examination appointments is due and payable at the time of the appointment. On your behalf, our office will
submit a dental claim form to your dental insurance company for your reimbursement.
Due to limits imposed by most dental plans, this examination charge may or may not be covered.
For any proposed treatment, however, our office will normally accept insurance assignment so that you would pay only
the difference between the amount paid by your insurance plan and our fee.
Our office accepts cash, personal cheques, Interac, Visa and Mastercard. A service charge of 1.5% (18% pre annum) will
be applied to all overdue accounts. There is a $25 charge for NSF cheques.
